Parker lined octagonal barrel, threaded for sound moderator with cap, matted sight flat, the adjacent flat engraved 'Wm. CASHMORE. MAKER. BIRMINGHAM. 1ST PRIZE. ADELAIDE. 1887. MELBOURNE. 1888.', dove-tailed bead fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with one folding leaf, the breech-end fitted with a Redfield 1 3/4x5x telescopic sight, lever cocking scoop-backed action, trigger safety, non-selective ejector, border and partial acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in . pistolgrip stock including buttplate, pistolgrip cap, Hackett-type snap-on fore-end with horn finial (some losses), weight 6lb. 6oz.
